We understand that plans can change, and we always aim to handle cancellations with fairness and transparency. Below is our official cancellation policy to ensure clarity for all guests.
Standard Cancellation Terms
More than 30 days before arrival:
A standard cancellation fee of R500 per apartment booked will apply.
Exactly 30 days before arrival:
You will forfeit 30% of the total booking value.
21 days before arrival:
You will forfeit 50% of the total booking value.
14 days or less before arrival:
You will forfeit 100% of the total booking value.
Same-Day Cancellations & Guest Dissatisfaction Policy
If a guest chooses to cancel on the day of check-in due to dissatisfaction but does not allow TheBlyde.com a reasonable opportunity to address, rectify, or provide a suitable solution, no refund will be provided.
However, if the guest raises a concern upon arrival, TheBlyde.com will make every effort to resolve the matter promptly or provide suitable alternative accommodation, subject to availability.
If TheBlyde.com is unable to resolve the issue or offer a suitable alternative, a full refund will be issued as a gesture of goodwill and service integrity.
Please note:
Guests are encouraged to communicate any issues immediately upon arrival so that our team can attend to them promptly.
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days after approval.

No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to arrive on the check-in date without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
Early Departures
If a guest decides to depart earlier than the booked check-out date, no partial refunds will be granted for unused nights unless otherwise approved by management under special circumstances.
